The latest report, explained

What inspectors found, November 2023

Roseville House is rated Good overall; inspectors found kind, person-centred care, but leadership and oversight need improvement.

This was an unannounced inspection over two days. One inspector spoke with people, relatives and staff, observed care, and checked care plans, medicine records, safety documents and other management information.

The home was rated Good for Safe, Effective, Caring and Responsive. People were supported by staff who understood their needs, treated them respectfully, helped them make choices and supported activities, family contact and community life.

Well-led was rated Requires Improvement. A significant medicine error was not found by the home's own checks, and required notifications about authorised DoLS had not been sent to CQC on time. The report says no harm was caused by the medicine error and that action was taken.
