- Inspectors found safe recruitment, enough staff, well-managed risks and safe medicines administration. Safeguarding concerns, accidents and incidents were recorded, investigated and used to reduce the risk of recurrence.

Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care across all five areas.
The inspection took place on 7 December 2023. One inspector observed care, spoke with two relatives and six staff, and checked care plans, recruitment files, medicines records and management records.
The home supports up to two younger adults with learning disabilities and autistic people. Two people were living there during the inspection. Inspectors found enough trained staff, safe medicines practice, detailed care plans and support that followed people's choices.
People were treated with respect and supported to communicate, stay independent, see relatives and take part in activities. Inspectors also found regular checks of safety and quality, with action taken when improvements were needed.
The home was rated Good overall and Good in Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. This was the first inspection since the service registered under a new provider in 2022. The previous provider's rating was Good, published in September 2018.
Safe staffing and recruitment
The provider had enough suitable staff and used checks and references to recruit safely. Staff and relatives said staffing levels were suitable.

Kind, respectful care
Staff knew people well, respected their choices and supported their privacy, dignity and independence.

Care plans described people's preferences, communication and routines in detail. Staff supported people to take part in activities and maintain relationships.

The provider and manager regularly checked the quality and safety of care. Action plans were used when issues were found.
