What inspectors found, December 2023

Livability Keefield is Rated Good; inspectors found safe, caring support, with some environmental checks needing improvement.

The CQC carried out an unannounced focused inspection on 1 and 14 December 2023. One inspector spoke with people, relatives, managers and staff, observed care, and checked care, medicines, recruitment and management records.

The home was rated Good for Safe and Well-led. Inspectors found enough staff, safe medicines support, suitable safeguarding arrangements and detailed risk plans. People had positive relationships with staff, and staff supported choice, independence and community involvement.

The inspectors found a few environmental issues. Wardrobes were not fully secured to the wall and a crash mat was damaged. The manager dealt with these issues after the inspection, but some provider checks had not identified them.
