What inspectors found, August 2023
Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and personalised care, with good leadership across all five areas.
The inspection was unannounced and took place on 31 July 2023. One inspector spoke with three people living at the home, two relatives and two staff. They also observed care and checked care plans, medicines, training and quality records.
The home supported five people with learning disabilities. Inspectors found suitable risk assessments, safe medicines systems, enough staff and appropriate recruitment checks. People were treated with kindness and respect, involved in choices, and supported to stay in touch with family and take part in activities.
All five areas were rated Good: Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-led. This was the same overall rating and the same rating for each area as at the previous inspection, published on 25 April 2018.

Or stay at home with a private carer
Many people who look at care homes end up staying at home with a carer who comes in for a few hours a day, or lives in. PrimeCarers introduces you to self-employed carers you choose yourself: interviewed, ID and DBS checked, from about £20 an hour or £1,120 a week live-in.
