What inspectors found, February 2024
Rated Good; inspectors found people were safe, medicines were managed properly and the home was well-led, but this was a focused inspection.
Inspectors visited on 30 January 2024. They reviewed Safe and Well-led only. The home provided accommodation and personal care for up to 33 people, with 27 people living there at the time.
People said they felt safe. Inspectors found enough staff, timely responses to call bells, safe recruitment, appropriate medicines management and regular reviews of risks, incidents and accidents. The home was clean and infection control practices were followed.
Inspectors found that the registered manager welcomed feedback, kept CQC informed about notifiable events and supported staff. The overall rating remained Good, as it was at the previous inspection published on 18 December 2018. Ratings for the other three areas were carried over from the previous inspection because they were not reviewed this time.
People felt safe
Everyone inspectors spoke with said they felt safe. Staff knew what to do if they suspected abuse.

Staffing and call bells
There were enough staff on shift, and people said call bells were answered promptly.
