What inspectors found, March 2024
Rated Good; inspectors found safe, well-managed care and no evidence that earlier concerns had put people at risk.
This was an unannounced focused inspection on 13 and 22 November 2023. Inspectors spoke with 7 people, the manager and 2 support workers. They reviewed 5 care records, recruitment records and management information, and received feedback from 3 staff.
The home was rated Good for Safe and Well-led. People said they felt safe, liked the staff and received the support they needed. Medicines records were complete, staffing levels were suitable, recruitment checks were carried out and the home was clean.
The inspection followed concerns raised during earlier monitoring about incidents, leadership, openness and learning. Inspectors reviewed these issues and found no evidence that people were at risk of harm. They found that risks linked to earlier violent incidents were being managed and there had been no further reported incidents.

Or stay at home with a private carer
Many people who look at care homes end up staying at home with a carer who comes in for a few hours a day, or lives in. PrimeCarers introduces you to self-employed carers you choose yourself: interviewed, ID and DBS checked, from about £20 an hour or £1,120 a week live-in.
