What inspectors found, December 2023
Rated Good; inspectors found safe care and strong management in the two areas inspected.
This was an unannounced inspection on 13 and 14 December 2023. One inspector and an Expert by Experience spoke with people, relatives and staff. They observed care and checked care records, medicines records, recruitment files, training records and management audits.
The home was rated Good for Safe and Well-led. Inspectors found safeguarding systems, risk assessments, medicines processes, infection control, staffing and recruitment were working well. They also found that managers monitored the service, listened to feedback and worked with other professionals.
Only Safe and Well-led were inspected in this visit. The overall rating remained Good, matching the previous overall rating published in September 2020. The report says CQC will continue to monitor information about the home.

Or stay at home with a private carer
Many people who look at care homes end up staying at home with a carer who comes in for a few hours a day, or lives in. PrimeCarers introduces you to self-employed carers you choose yourself: interviewed, ID and DBS checked, from about £20 an hour or £1,120 a week live-in.
