What inspectors found, January 2024

Rated Good; inspectors found safe, kind and person-centred care in a well-led small home.

One inspector visited on 12 December 2023. They spoke with all 5 people living there, the provider and one staff member. They also checked care records, fire and maintenance records, and service audits.

The home was rated Good for Safe and Well-led. Inspectors found enough staff, suitable risk assessments, safe medicines management, safeguarding training and regular safety checks. People were supported to make choices and remain as independent as possible.

Inspectors found a positive family atmosphere. People were treated with kindness and respect, involved in their care, and supported to follow their interests. The provider used audits and feedback to monitor the service.
